Synthetic reduction demonstration (invented data; CC0-1.0)
Use reduction-reference.gff3 under Select Data > large-scale omics reduction.
Choose all chromosomes, Fixed windows = 10000 bp, and Count for gene density.
Expected: 6000 gene features reduce to 300 windows, with seeded variable gene counts and enriched regions. Seed = 20261101.
Numeric summary: upload both reduction-sample-*.bedgraph files and select Average.
Each sample has 60000 intervals reduced to 300 windows. Both samples have smooth regional peaks plus independent seeded noise; they are not identical or fixed multiples.
Depth summary: upload both reduction-sample-*.bam files with their .bam.bai indexes, using the same reference and 10000-bp windows.
Read counts, start offsets and read lengths vary using seed 20261102. Actual nucleotide-depth means, sums and covered-base counts for every window are listed in reduction-expected.json; zeros are excluded.
The GFF3 is plain text and needs no index. BAMs are coordinate sorted with matching BAI indexes.
See reduction-expected.json for independent numeric checkpoints. This is a compact demonstration, not a performance benchmark or a biological dataset.
